FETCH STORAGE TO TRIPLE WAREHOUSE SPACE
ANGEL FUNDING ENABLES BUSINESS TO GROW
Boston, Mass. – October 15, 2006 – Fetch Storage, the only provider of full service property storage to homes and business, today announced is has secured funding needed to triple the warehouse storage space and increase employees. The funding comes from angel investors – some new and others existing investors in Fetch Storage.
In business for nearly four years, the current warehouse space for Fetch Storage is nearing capacity. The recent infusion of funding will allow the company to triple its storage space to accommodate increased demand and ensure sufficient excess space to avoid customer waiting lists. Additionally, the funding will support hiring of new employees needed to meet customer needs, including deliveries.
“I am extremely excited about the funding and what it will enable us to do for our customers” said Brian Farrell, general manager, Fetch Storage. “Tripling storage space for customers is tremendous, and with the new employees we will be able to guarantee the two-hour delivery window to all of our new customers.”
Individuals and Businesses Use Fetch Storage
Fetch Storage provides the consumer and commercial markets of metropolitan Boston and its immediate suburbs with full-service storage including door-to-door pick up, on-demand access to individual items and boxes, and delivery of personal belongings and business equipment, furniture, and files as needed.

All Fetch Storage customers are looking for ways to declutter their homes and offices while maintaining easy and quick access to items that are needed seasonally or periodically.
Fetch Storage adds ease and convenience to self-storage by creating an entirely new way for consumers and businesses to store their goods. Fetch Storage comes to the home or office, helps organize belongings, and picks ups and delivers the items to its secure storage facilities. Clients receive a complete inventory list of every item in storage. According to Farrell, “Our clients can simply call or click anytime to identify those items they want retrieved. And they can request a delivery – right to their home or office. We can deliver a specific item or an entire room of furniture and accessories as needed and when needed.”

- Examples of goods stored: gas grills; patio furniture; sporting goods such as ski equipment, golf clubs and camping gear; holiday decorations; baby items; furniture; books; clothing; fans and air conditioners.
For small and medium sized business, that want self-storage to archive business files, and store furniture and equipment, Fetch Storage avoids many of the drawbacks and inconveniences associated with standard self-storage facilities. Benefits include:
- Convenience – on-site pick-up and drop off coupled with centralized management of documents

Pricing and Availability
When compared to traditional storage providers – self-storage and POD storage which charge a base of $105-$122/month space rental – starting at just $59/month with no hidden costs, Fetch Storage is more cost effective. In addition it is convenient, and offers greater peace of mind. As soon as items are packed, the customer does not handle them again until they request their return. “Gone are the days of rummaging through storage bins or getting a whole POD delivered back to your house, for a fee, to get your stuff,” notes Farrell.
Fetch Storage currently services Boston proper, and its suburbs inside Route 128. The monthly service fee is based on cubic feet of storage required and number of personal deliveries throughout the year. |
